Police are appealing to the public for information that could help locate two boys, aged nine and 11, who have gone missing in Wepener in the Free State.
Lebohang Mosesi, 9, and his 11-year-old brother, Teboho Mosesi, are from Phomolong Informal Settlement in Bloemfontein.
The brothers were visiting relatives in Shipman Street, Wepener, with their elder sister when they left the house on Thursday, September 17.
Police said the family later noticed that the boys’ clothes were missing and began trying to establish whether they had travelled independently to Vanstadensrus or Bloemfontein.
The search was then extended to the local taxi association.
One taxi driver told the family that they had seen two boys walking along the R702 towards Bloemfontein.
What the boys were wearing
According to SAPS, Teboho was wearing blue shorts, a pink T-shirt and sandals when he left the house.
Lebohang was wearing tracksuit pants, a red jersey and black takkies.
Police in Wepener are now asking anyone who may have seen the brothers or knows where they are to come forward.

Police have urged anyone with information that could assist in locating the boys to contact them.
The SAPS regularly appeals to the public for assistance in missing-person cases and maintains a missing-persons database on its website.
