It’s been a big year for reality TV star and content creator Vuyokazi Nciweni, and she has just added another win to the list.
The “Izingane Zes’thembu” star officially graduated from the University of South Africa (Unisa), marking the end of a journey that began in 2020.
Nciweni took to social media to share moments from her graduation ceremony in Cape Town, proudly celebrating an achievement she has been working towards for years.
Sharing pictures from her special day, including touching moments with her parents, the content creator reflected on the determination that carried her through her studies.
“She didn’t just earn a qualification, she proved that no setback is bigger than her determination. To the girl who never gave up, I’m so proud of you,” she wrote.
The graduation comes just months after Nciweni revealed that she had completed her qualification with an impressive 11 distinctions, an achievement that earned her praise from fans who have followed her journey on television and social media.
According to reports, earlier this year, she opened up about her academic path, explaining that she studied Corrections Management, a qualification focused on the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders, particularly young people.
She previously shared that her decision to pursue the field was personal and rooted in the environment she grew up in.
“As a girl from a township, I saw many children growing up in broken homes, dropping out of school, getting into trouble and becoming involved in crime and drugs. I didn’t like seeing that, so I decided I wanted to help them get off the streets and see that there is always something better to do,” she said.

Nciweni also dedicated the achievement to her parents, who were by her side throughout her academic journey and during the ceremony.
“Behind every graduate is a family who never stopped believing. This one is for my parents,” she wrote.
Nciweni had previously shared that she had to put her studies on hold when life forced her to focus on other responsibilities. When she later focused on herself, that’s when she decided to continue with her academics and push for success with her family’s support.
Her graduation adds to what has already been a milestone-filled year for the reality TV star.
Earlier this year, she celebrated moving into a stylish new apartment in Cape Town, a moment she proudly shared with her followers after years of building her career across reality television, content creation and other business ventures.
The mother of two, who rose to prominence through “Uthando Nes’thembu” and later “Izingane Zes’thembu”, now lives in Cape Town with her children, Mhlophekazi and Nzulu, whom she shares with Mpumelelo Mseleku.
While viewers watched the ups and downs of her relationship with Mpumelelo Mseleku unfold on television before their eventual split.
She has also been candid about her personal transformation journey. In 2025, she underwent several cosmetic procedures in Turkiye, including a tummy tuck, breast surgery and liposuction, after previously having gastric sleeve surgery five months earlier.
At the time, she explained that her decision was motivated by a desire to be healthier after struggling with weight loss for a while.
