South Africa and the world will be getting an inside look at the nuptials of award-winning broadcaster Anele Mgudlwa (née Mdoda) and Bonelela “Buzza James” Mgudlwa.
“Stars and Vows: Anele & Buzza” has been revealed as one of the shows coming to streaming giant Netflix later this year.
The 947 presenter celebrated her traditional wedding ceremony with Buzza in late April 2025, followed by a private white wedding in November 2025.
Anele shared a few moments from her wedding on social media but has kept most of the footage under wraps. Now, her fans and audiences around the world will get to see the journey leading up to the moment the couple said: “I do”.
“Stars and Vows: Anele & Buzza” is produced by Nomzamo Mbatha and Teddy Geldart. The project signals further growth in Mbatha’s producer credits following her work on “Shaka iLembe”.
Geldart’s production credits include directing two seasons of “Being Bonang” and “A Very Bonang Year”, as well as executive producing the reality show “Kwa Mam’Mkhize”.
“Stars and Vows: Anele & Buzza” was among the shows revealed as coming to Netflix during the streaming giant’s South Africa 10-year anniversary press showcase.
South African content continues to feature prominently on Netflix, with the platform announcing more productions and entertainment as it marks a decade in the country.

“Blood Legacy” Season 2
The new season welcomes actress Thembi Nyandeni, who steps into the role of regal matriarch Madlamini Ndlovu.
The character was previously portrayed by the late award-winning actress Connie Chiume.
“How to Ruin Diwali”
Featuring an all-star cast led by Rosemary Zimu and Kyle Clark, the “How to Ruin” series is growing, with a new family being introduced in “How to Ruin Diwali”.
The cast also includes Jailoshini Naidoo, Koobeshen Naidoo, Sonia Mbele, Meshack Mavuso, Luthando “BU” Mthembu and Denise Zimba.
“How to Ruin Diwali” premieres in October.
“Seriously Single Too”
“Seriously Single” is back for a second instalment, with the ladies taking on the picturesque city of Cape Town.
“Another Disaster Holiday”
Following the success of “Disaster Holiday”, another family comedy is on the way with “Another Disaster Holiday”.
The film is slated for release in December.
“Tuiskoms” Season 2
The Afrikaans offering is returning for a second season.
The show will continue to honour the memory of Michelle Botes, who died in 2024.
New seasons of “Marked” and “Meet The Khumalos” have also been announced.
