A decomposed body was found underneath an old vehicle at a house under construction in the Ematsheni area of Shayamoya in Kokstad on Thursday.
Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the provincial spokesperson for the South African Police Service (SAPS) in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), said that due to the severity of decomposition, the body cannot be identified, and its gender cannot be determined. Police said no foul play was suspected at this stage.
